Be realistic about your lifestyle and what your body and you can manage.
Staying motivated and excited about exercise can be a challenge, especially if you are new to exercise. Often people come to me full of enthusiasm and ready to make positive changes, with this big decision to finally take action, I often find people will throw themselves in head first and take on too much too quickly. This can be extremely overwhelming to the new exerciser, both emotionally and physically and sometimes can be the reason why people drop away from exercise and there goals.
My message to you this week is make sure you are realistic about your lifestyle and what your body and you can manage in taking those first steps back to fitness. Start with baby steps and grow your routine as you become fitter and more confident in your body, that way you will be more inclined to make your new exercise routine a permanent lifestyle change. Which in the long run will add quality and enjoyment to your life!
For me, this is what my goal is through Shelley Myatt fitness and well-being, to provide you with the steps and ways to make the changes needed to improve your life happiness and achieve your goals.
DO SOMETHING TODAY THAT YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU FOR!
