Shelley Motivation! 22-5-16

The word impossible says I'm possible in itself!

For me my life has been full of constants twist and turns that lead me in directions I could never imaged.  Six months ago I left my position as USQ Works gym manager to follow my own dream to establish my own business and fitness and well-ness studio.

I thought I had found the perfect spot in Russell St to set up in.  but over the past five months I have hit road  block after road block with finalising the venue - making the dream almost feel unattainable.

There was even a moment when I questioned whether to continue working towards my passion and that maybe it was time to let go. (not me at all but it has been a long few years)

In this moment I realised that my hope for Shelley Myatt Fitness and Well-being is the one thing in the last four years that has finally given me hope for my future happiness.  That I was not to give up but to refocus and reshape my vision and find a new way forward.

Last week I looked at a spot in Brook St at the Old Butter Factory.  The giant fridge door opened to reveal an amazing quirky space and suddenly I knew I had a new home for my dream and my future.

So starting Monday the 22nd of May - Shelley Myatt Fitness and Well-being will be based at 'The Fridge' and I will be officially open for business.  Finally I can start to put into reality what has been in my heart and head for so long.

So stayed tuned over the next few weeks for new and exciting changes - a new studio designed to make my clients feel comfortable and ease in a fitness environment, new equipment, a new time table with new classes to try out, new programs, motivation consults,  monthly events including a Motivate-it! class, Live-it! Love-it! information night, and a Ladies Love-it! Lunch-it!

I guess my real message to you this week is to never give up on your dreams and goals - if you really want something you can find a way to achieve it and move forward, even when it feels impossible.

After all the very word impossible say 'I'm possible' in itself.
